Our Women's Ministry comes alongside our Home Groups to provide specific teaching, training, and encouragement to fulfill the unique role God has given women in His kingdom. Biblical womanhood often runs contrary to what the world teaches us, so we seek, by God's grace, to build women into what the Bible teaches they were created to become.
Our hope is for you to discover that the Bible pictures womanhood in a far more gracious manner than this category has often been portrayed at various times throughout church history. Since God the Father highly values women made in His image, we do too, and we want to help women develop a grace-based understanding of what it means to be a woman. Grace Bible Church's Women's Ministry serves the role of connecting women to the grace of God and one another for the purpose of teaching sound doctrine flowing out of a growing understanding of the Gospel.
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. - Titus 2:3-5
The Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference will be live-streamed here at the church starting on Thursday, June 14, through Saturday, June 16.
Join us for TGC’s 2018 Women’s Conference, a conference that’s for women but not all about women. Together we’ll exalt the Lord Jesus and grow together in His Word. Plenary speakers will expound key passages from Deuteronomy, to help us take it in deeply and personally. We’ll sing and celebrate this Word of grace. A host of workshop speakers will address topics that show in practical ways how God’s grace shapes every aspect of life in this fallen and needy world. Teaching from the Word . . . fellowship around the Word . . . hearing the voices of sisters living out the Word all over the world . . . TGCW18.
Join the ladies at the church for any (or all) of the sessions (listed on the flyer) as we live stream the conference in the Sanctuary. Also, here's an article from The Gospel Coalition "How to Make the Most of TGCW18".
Please feel free to bring any snacks, beverages, or even a meal (lunch/dinner will not be provided) as we welcome the opportunity to continue discussions & fellowship between sessions.
WHEN: Thursday, June 14 starting at 4PM through Saturday, June 16
Pre-Conference Sessions may be available from noon to 2:30PM
LOVING THE MOST VULNERABLE: How does the gospel shape our response to the most vulnerable ones around us: refugees, fatherless, widows? It’s a question that arises not just from Deuteronomy but from the whole Scriptures. It’s a question we followers of the Lord Jesus must answer, with our words and our lives. Biblical teaching and personal stories will call us to embody gospel-centered love for a needy world.

Knowing God should not only affect our beliefs and behavior - what we think and do. It should also affect our emotions - how we feel. Previous generations talked of “experiential faith” - faith that is expressed in every area of our lives.
But when someone asks the questions: “Have you had an experience of God?”, it provokes mixed reactions in many of us.
The word “experience” may set alarm bells ringing for some Christians, as they imagine the word means supernatural encounters, strange visions, voices, or other revelations.
But the Bible, God’s final, complete revelation, reveals a different, yet no less marvelous, experience of God. The wonderful truths of the gospel and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, give Christians a unique experience of God, seen and felt in many ways: a love for Christ and for others, peace in place of anxiety, joy in all circumstances. a passion for doing good, and a deep sense of fulfillment and freedom.
These studies stem from the conviction that a deeper understanding of God’s gospel leads us to a genuine, life-transforming experience of the living God in Christ, which leaves us hungry to know Him more, and serve Him more faithfully.
