Our Women's Ministry comes alongside our Home Groups to provide specific teaching, training, and encouragement to fulfill the unique role God has given women in His kingdom. Biblical womanhood often runs contrary to what the world teaches us, so we seek, by God's grace, to build women into what the Bible teaches they were created to become.
Our hope is for you to discover that the Bible pictures womanhood in a far more gracious manner than this category has often been portrayed at various times throughout church history. Since God the Father highly values women made in His image, we do too, and we want to help women develop a grace-based understanding of what it means to be a woman. Grace Bible Church's Women's Ministry serves the role of connecting women to the grace of God and one another for the purpose of teaching sound doctrine flowing out of a growing understanding of the Gospel.
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. - Titus 2:3-5
What is discipleship? What does that look like for me? Why are we talking about discipleship at a women's retreat? Discipleship is God’s idea and our gracious God has given us guidance on these questions and more in the Bible. During our time together we will be seeking what God's Word says about discipleship and how it should impact our lives. We hope you will join us for a weekend of worshiping our Savior, learning His truth and fellowshipping with our sisters in Christ!

The hidden hand of God is at work in the lives of Ruth and her struggling family and wonderfully at work in history. Through this study, we will see how God transforms hardship from bitterness to joy. As we go through difficult times, we, just like Ruth and her family, are unable to see how everything will turn out. But by encountering the God who works through the circumstances of life, we, too, can discover the God who works all things together for our good and for His glory.
TWO STUDY OPTIONS:
Saturday mornings 9-11 am | 3/3; 3/10; 3/17; 4/7; 4/14; 4/21
Monday nights from 7-9pm | 3/5; 3/12; 3/19; 4/9; 4/16; 4/23
No Cost for study guide (pick one up in the church office)
