Theologian Darrell Bock says, "A Gospel is a theological narrative about Jesus Christ; it teaches its theology while recounting the events surrounding this most famous of lives...the Gospels are theology revealed in the context of life, clothed in flesh and blood."

The Gospel of Luke is Part one of a two-volume work that includes what we now know as the book of Acts. Luke sets out to show how Jesus is Lord of all, so the Gospel can go to all--while also showing how this was part of God's plan from all eternity. As we work through the Gospel of Luke, we will repeatedly see this theme develop and expand. Join us as we together learn from Luke that Jesus is Lord of all, so the Gospel can go to all.
