Chester Pettis
Elder

Chester has served at Grace Bible Church for nearly 20 years. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married his high school sweetheart, Connie, after graduating from college; he has three children and four grandchildren. He fulfilled his childhood fascination with the military, by serving in the U.S. Army, and retiring after 25 years of service. Chester gave his life to Jesus Christ while serving in Korea. And he is thankful to God for placing a desire to serve in the military in his heart and for using the military to bring him to a saving faith. Chester enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include watching the Colts and Redskins play football and occasionally shooting baskets with his grandson.
